new shine is a beauty blog dedicated to finding the best “drugstore” beauty products and testing, reviewing, and then sharing them with all of you. We all want to look amazing, but ya know what? Using expensive products to do so is just that: EXPENSIVE. As a college student, I don’t have those kinds of funds rolling in, so I have learned to be creative and find the best inexpensive items that work like the pricey brands and give those products a run for their money. The key is to maximize a product’s utility by incorporating some professional techniques that I’ve learned from professionals and amateurs alike. Are you ready? 
You may be wondering where the name “new shine” came from. Every time you go out and purchase some new makeup, a new purse, or a kickin’ pair of heels, you just bought some new shine. New shine is anything that brightens up your outlook, your day, or your under-eye circles. Something that makes you walk a little straighter and helps you convey to the world that you are, in fact, quite awesome. It’s empowerment through beauty (in the case of this blog), and I love it!
